This series of digital illustrations is efforts in trying to experiment with art styles that employ painterly versus linear painting aspects. I have learned my best work is when I work with both qualities in my artwork.

 

The process was done in photoshop using different opacities and brushes, but restricted myself on using only a few to be able to see what I could achieve with few digital brushes rather then using brushes as a clutch for shapes or images. I gave myself a hour or two at the most to work on each piece.
